Rooted in the culture and nature of Itacaré, Bahia, OKA was born as the most emblematic project of the Swedish-Brazilian group Barracuda: a statement to the world about the best that Brazil has to offer, made without compromising purpose and sustainability.
With 3,500 square meters of built area, nine suites, an 800-square-meter swimming pool, and a 270-degree view of the Atlantic Ocean, the house occupies the highest point of the 62 hectares of nature reserve preserved by the group.
The house offers a complete immersion in the destination through an all-inclusive accommodation model. A dedicated chef, acting as a true maestro of the experience, guides the gastronomic journey with a focus on discovering the flavors and traditions of Itacaré. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and other gastronomic experiences are included in the accommodation, and the wine cellar features a curated selection of Brazilian wines.

The house was conceived around rituals in their many forms. Movement, the cultivation of body and mind, and moments of expanded awareness are woven into the experience, guided by a philosophy rooted in nature.
At the Spa, a water circuit with varying temperatures includes a cold plunge, jacuzzi, and sauna. Dedicated staff lead wellness experiences curated by Barracuda, with a focus on circuits designed to treat jet lag, promote relaxation, or boost energy. Therapists are available for daily massage treatments, included in the stay.
The sunlit gym, welcoming and clad in warm woods, combines functional equipment with weights hand-carved by Brazilian artisans in partnership with Tora Brasil. Each piece features a QR code that allows tracking of the wood's origin, the production process, and the FSC certification, which attests to responsible forest management.
