Cioba Boat Trip
Rio de Contas
Aboard the Cioba, an authentic wooden fishing boat, we glide along the Rio de Contas, where mangroves and riverside communities make up the landscape and reveal the genuine rhythm of local life.
During this group experience, the team prepares fresh fish grilled over charcoal, in the traditional way. Appetizers are served on board along the way upriver.
A journey that invites you to slow down and connect with the nature and culture of Itacaré.
Surf Guide
Wherever the swell takes us
The Surf Guide is a signature experience by Barracuda, as a brand born from a shared passion for surf, its philosophy, and our deep knowledge of Itacaré's best waves.
This surf trip is led by an experienced surfer, native to the city, who knows the beaches, the surf spots, the tides, and the winds of the region like no one else. Starting with an initial conversation with the guest, we design a personalized itinerary for the surf days, with access to the beaches via trail, car, or speedboat.
The surf trips are guided by experienced local surfers, who assess the tide and the day's conditions and suggest the best spots — in Itacaré or the surrounding area — for a true Insider Experience.

Atlantic Forest Trekking & Picnic
Prainha
A trail where every step is a discovery, with nuances of the fauna, flora, and local stories shared by the guide, who knows the territory like no one else.
Prainha, the final destination, is one of the most preserved spots in Bahia. Between swimming, contemplation, and moments of pure enchantment, our host presents the perfect complement: a picnic carefully prepared by the Barracuda kitchen, with fresh fruit, sandwiches, and energy bars, served under the shade of the coconut trees.
Cocoa Farm Experience
Taboquinhas
From fruit to chocolate, from river to table — a delightful and authentic dive into the Cocoa Coast, in southern Bahia. The experience begins with a 40-minute drive to the district of Taboquinhas, where we will cross the river to one of the farms supported by the Yandê Itacaré Institute. There, cocoa is grown using agroecological practices and with great dedication by its guardians.
We will learn the entire cocoa process (from soil to bar), taste cocoa honey, nibs, and handcrafted chocolates produced right there. Afterwards, we will travel by canoe to the Noré waterfall — a great spot to cool off — and enjoy a typical lunch, served simply and with lots of affection.
A Rare Coastline: the Meeting of Forest and Sand
The coastline of Itacaré entered the international surfing circuit after being discovered in the 1980s by a group of European friends passionate about the sport. From then on, tourism spotlights turned to this small fishing village, which boasts a landscape different from other parts of the Bahian coast, where long coconut groves predominate on plains, beside a waveless sea.
In Itacaré, wild beaches are punctuated by rocky outcrops covered in lush Atlantic rainforest, creating perfect waves in this unique encounter between sea and forest.
